What I’m Listening To: Tunnel Vision (Hidden Brain podcast episode)

My favorite podcast “Hidden Brain” is killing it like always with this episode “Tunnel Vision“. The scarcity mentality is something I’ve always perfectly understood exists without ever being told (which I suspect is true for anyone only once or twice removed from a generation that had to do without). It’s one of those concepts that I am always surprised to realize that it’s not something that others intuitively get or are aware of.

Scarcity takes a huge toll. It robs people of insight. And it helps to explain why, when we’re in a hole, we sometimes dig ourselves even deeper.

As always, I encourage everyone to give this a listen and a ponder. It will broaden your mind, change how you think about the world, and hopefully make the world a better place. (Or if reading is more your thing, you can find the transcript here).
